-General Info-
To celebrate 50 years of encouraging the written and spoken word, SWC are hosting a literary festival with Open Mic, author tables, creative activities and more. Message us if you would like to book a slot or table!
There will be favourites such as The Endless Story Scroll, a range of poetry, plays and prose as well as plenty of local authors and businesses to meet and greet.
Will be taking place Sunday 28th August 2022, 10-4pm at Southport Community Centre, Norwood Road (see below map)
There will be a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and homemade cakes available to purchase on the day (cash only).

There is parking available on site but if the car park becomes full, there is some limited public parking nearby (please be mindful of any residential restrictions) or Meols Cop Retail Park is approx 5 minutes walk from the venue.
Facemasks are encouraged but not mandatory and there will be hand-sanitizer available.
There is a first aid kit available on site and several trained first aiders will be in attendance.
Anybody deemed to be causing a dangerous disruption will be asked to leave.
In case of emergency, the gathering point will be in the adjacent car park.
