We run writing course in south west Scotland and I wondered if any members would be interested in attending. We offer discounts for couple or group bookings.

The tutors are the well-published writers Margaret Elphinstone and Mary Smith. Mary has also been a senior journalist for a local paper. They are both very experienced tutors and participant numbers are limited to allow plenty of individual attention.

The accommodation is a 4-star newly converted coach house and large rooms in the main house, surrounded by tranquil countryside with pet llamas in the field and jolly hens.

Durhamhill is not far from a main railway line and we are happy to arrange transport to and from Dumfries or Lockerbie Stations.

This year’s courses are for 3 days, in May and October, and participants are welcome to arrive on the preceding evening.
